The Potential Market
The market potential for the FPR is immense and growing; every person on this planet has or someday will ultimately benefit from the availability of power generation, so very much better if it is generated from a CO2 neutral source of biomass. In the same frame of logic everyone on this planet has in some way been touched by the production and effects of activated carbon, some of this effect has been beneficial but sad to say not all, as fossil fuel and coal are two of the main components used in its manufacture, even when high grade activated carbon is produced today from coconut shell charcoal, heavy oil is used to delivery the heat necessary for production.
The aforementioned highlights the activated carbon production industry as it is today as a large consumer of fossil fuel, in terms of its operational procedure the FPR is a complete reversal of that and this is what we intend to exploit, the section: Our Technology goes on to explain the beneficial and negative aspects of the different technologies.
The FPR comes with the potential to provide an array of production options to address combined heat and power production in conjunction with either activated carbon or biochar production.
Our potential customers and partners are in effect any person or group that have a requirement for combined heat and power production coupled with that of activated carbon or biochar production, they can be a multi-national that wants to enhance the recovery of gold from ore using activated carbon, a remote coconut farming co-operative in the Philippines that needs heat and power to process all the component parts of the coconut into high value product or a district heating project in Alaska that is looking to generate an above average return on heat and power provision with the additional activated carbon production.
In short our customer base extends to anywhere on our planet that has a sustainable biomass supply. We look to deploy our reactors in every country engaging with partners in industry, farming, pollution control, community building, and world poverty reduction.
The Key Selling Points are:
1) Does not require fossil fuel to operate.
2) Does not contribute to global warming
3) Requires only a single stage process from biomass feed stock to activated carbon.
4) Uses only biomass in the form of wood, coconut shells, olive stones etc.
5) Export 75% of the original biomass energy as clean energy for power production.
6) Has a small physical footprint.
7) Has a lower build cost than conventional technologies.
8) Has a modular and mobile design.
9) When part of a power plant has the energy to be entirely self sufficient.
10) Has the ability to be transported into remote areas.
11) Processes its own feed stock at point of source.
